Good to know

The cabin sits in a cove off the main channel, which is great for swimming. A concrete walkway leads to the private floating dock with mooring for multiple boats. It’s 10 minutes by water to breakfast-lunch-dinner at Sequoyah or Stardust Marina's or an 18-minute drive to a modern grocery store. This is the “peaceful” side of the lake with an easy boat ride to Norris Dam, Andersonville Park and plenty of secluded coves nearby.

- Return Corn Hole boards back under overhang and throw bags in plastic tote. - Kayaks/paddles must be returned to rack at end of stay - Be SAFE. This is a deep lake. Be aware of everyone’s swimming ability. Wear life jackets, use floatation devices, and ALWAYS monitor your children. Do not leave children unattended in the water. - Be respectful of boat speed and wake when boating in coves and near docks.

The new Doc is awesome covered in a great place to hang out in case there's a brief rain shower very easy walk to the dock great location tons of restaurants and marinas all around

The cabin was beautiful, well equipped and close to the lake. We had a wonderful time! The dock was large enough to accommodate us all and the water was perfect!

We had a great week at Sean and Kristen’s place! It was perfect for the 4 adults we had staying there. It was pretty much in the middle of the lake which made it easy to get to any of the marinas we wanted on a short boat trip. My only negative comment, which is uncontrollable by Sean or anyone, the dock is close to the main part of the lake which meant for rough waters on busy days. We tied up in several directions so no damage or issues with our boat. Just something to mention for future renters.

We had our honeymoon at the cabin for a week, and it was perfect! The coziness and character of the place was just what we wanted. The access to the lake was easy, the all window porch overlooking the lake was beautiful, and the inside fireplace was so romantic. It’s so peaceful here all you hear are the sounds of Norris Lake. It’s an older cabin, but it is renovated just enough to give you the modern amenities while still keeping its charm. And don’t forget the dock! It was AMAZING. We cannot wait to go back 🩵
